NEW DIG SITE, NEW DIG DATES!

We are opening our newest dig site! It is located just a few miles out of Kerrville, TX!  Each property has different rules according to our contract with the landowner.  It is very important that you read and understand our agreements with each landowner so that we do not lose a lease!

Two of the most important things that the landowner has requested of us is that on fridays members are not allowed on the property before 6 PM.  We apologize to the campers for this inconvenience (as it gets dark early).  We may be able to change this once we get on the property but for now that is our agreement.

The other agreement we have is that the gate between the two mounds must be kept closed at all times.  If a cow/s gets out due to an open gate there are no other fences to keep them on his property.  If the cow/s get lost then whoever left the gate open will be liable for their cost. Let me add a word here.  Our members have always been great about leaving gates closed or open.

The Landowner has just approved for us to bring our pets IF they are kept on leash and do not disturb the cattle on the ranch.

We will be going back to our old style of digging at this new site.  We will be digging only on weekends.  We may open another site soon in the middle of the week at Camp Wood, Nueces River.  Watch for that!

This site consists of two sites next to each other. One will be for the backhoe/sifters, the other will be for the hand diggers.

We have new sifters for this site!  5 foot by 10 foot!  They are large enough to put as many as 10 people on comfortably!

DIG RULES HAVE BEEN CHANGED, PLEASE  GO TO THE LINK ABOVE - READ AND UNDERSTAND!  There were some problems on the last dig that have been addressed.  Know the rules before you come.  We will ask you to sign a copy to keep on file should there be a problem at the site.
