1. SEND IN AN E-MAIL TO ME, Bob McWilliams: www.texasaaa@aol.com
2. ASK TO BE PUT ON THE TAAA BOARD OF ADVISORS
3. WHEN I HAVE A HIGH-END PIECE THAT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SEVERAL OTHER OPINIONS
ON I WILL E-MAIL A PHOTO TO MY ADVISORS. I WILL DECIDE MY FINAL APPRAISAL PRICE
USING MY IDEAS AND INCLUDING YOURS. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT I WILL USE YOUR
PRICE BUT, COLLECTIVELY, IT WILL INFLUENCE THE FINAL APPRAISAL.
THAT'S IT!
WHAT DO I GET OUT OF BEING AN ADVISOR?
1. Advisors get the photos of my high-end pieces that I appraise. Some of those pieces may be for sale.
If they are, you will be given first opportunity to buy them.
WILL MY NAME BE MADE PUBLIC?
1. NO! The names of my advisors will be totally confidential.
Your name or contact information will never be shared without your permission
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
1. E-mail me back immediately with a high retail and a lower wholesale price that you believe an artifact should
bring if sold to a collector (high retail) or a dealer (wholesale price). I have the advantage of holding, microscoping, and
closely inspecting the piece where as you don't so I may be able to see something you can't.
This might affect the final price you see on the certificate, which may differ from your suggested price.
Your opinions, advice and prices are still very important to me, don't get discouraged if we do not agree on a price.
WHAT IF I DO NOT RESPOND TO YOUR REQUESTS PROMPTLY?
1. If you sign up and consistently miss getting back your price to me, your E-mail will be moved to the general
"ARTIFACT FOR SALE ALERTS" E-mail list in which I see the points after they have been appraised.
Of course, you lose the first shot at buying that special piece that might come along when that happens.
If you have been removed you can ask to be put back on the list 1 time with no questions asked.
2. I DO MY BEST TO HAVE THE SINGLE APPRAISALS FINISHED AND BACK IN THE MAIL WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS -
YOUR ADVICE IS NEEDED PROMPTLY IF THIS IS GOING TO WORK.
GOING TO BE GONE FOR A WHILE?
1. Going to be out of touch for a while? Simply e-mail me and tell me to take you off the advisors list until
you get back into position to be an advisor again. That way I will save your spot. Spots are limited.
