We will have the ditches ready for you hand diggers.
There is a shallow pay layer on top which includes
everything from bird points to archaic, then a layer of
fire rock, then the pay layer under that at the color change.
Please dig all the way into the color change, that is where
the best blades and dart points come from!
There are some super bird points to be found at this
site, please screen the top six inches with a 1/2" (reccomended)
screen or smaller. Sure you can raze the site and get the easy
artifacts but this is your chance to find an awesome bird
point shallow and a great blade deep is there. Please dig deep
enough and screen the top!
