Rainy Days........ The chance of rain scared most of our diggers off this weekend but we had
a few show up. The morning was fine, as the afternoon progressed the weather did turn bad.
By 3 everyone was wearing foul weather gear and the tractor was slipping and sliding.
We still managed to find some artifacts and we are looking forward to getting back in the dirt.
Like I warned, there are snakes in the dirt! I put this one on the screen. It is a harmless
Lined Snake or a Texas Brown snake according to my reptilian wife (you know her as Pony Woman.)
Glen Nix found a sweet Covington, small but perfect in every way. Translucent and paper thin!
Early Triangular
Here is some sort of animal canine, it has been in the campsite and mummified by the ash
for thousands of years.
The rain does not stop Carla's smile as she shows a couple of her finds. I got all the photos I
could, my camera was covered in mud.
