The clouds helded off most of the day for this small group but as the evening closed in we were ushered home by big thunder boomers! I got into over marble sized hail between China Grove and LaVernia. The weather has just not given us a break at this site. BUT it is looking great for this coming weekend! FINALLY!
Dr. Steve, dug a half day with us (still recovering from having two angioplastys in the past several months after suffering a heart attack late last year). He found a nice Perd, a drill, partial bone awl and an unidentified point.
Look at the material on this partial blade. Can anyone spell Dr.Gomer.com?
Scott and Jake Staley drove up for the weekend from Colorado! Jake is holding nice little early archaic
blade.
Father, Scott hand dug this Castroville? then pulled out a gorgeous Marcos point. We are glad to see
those Marcos points as they are sometimes found with corner tang knives.
A Father/Son weekend!
Carla Cox always seems to get her at least one good one! She found another nice Marcos point along
with the Perd and some tips and bases.
Kent Ashenfelter also holds a couple of his finds.
Part of a bone awl and a Perdiz that Bob found.
