While my newer camera is in the shop I am using the old camera. It uses floppy disks instead of memory sticks. Some photos were lost due to corrupt files on the disks (an old problem, that is why I bought the new camera you have seen me use the past year or so.) I apologize for the inconvenience.
.This is a very interesting piece. It is the core or middle of a conch shell! The anciencts brought it in all
the way from the ocean. You can tell from the they took the outside off that they were making gorgets.
That is very exciting news for the future diggers. We have not found a conch shell gorget yet so some should
turn up oput in the field!

The piece on the right is a trigger awl. Made from a deers ulna.
