MONTELL, TEXAS!
If the name does not say it all then take a look at the photos below!!! Our new dig site is
near the town of Montell, Texas. The place that the thin and beautiful Montell point was named!
THIS IS NOT JUST A DIG SPOT, IT IS A VACATION PLACE!
Located on the beautiful Nueces River about 20 west of Uvalde, our new dig site has
RV sites with electricity, Tent sites with or w/o electricity - HOT SHOWERS and the
cold, crystal clear Nueces River to swim in to cool off!
It is a long way, but this place is so beautiful you can bring the whole family, camp, fish
and swim! Take vacation with the family let them do their thing while you dig!!!

This is about 8 feet deep here! Look at the crystal clear waters of the Nueces!
HUNT ARTIFACTS!!!
Virgin Mounds and Ancient Camp Sites are all along the river bend!

Mounds, Fire Rock, Flint!!! The whole area is one huge encampment!

This mound is on the backside of the property. (you should see the area around this tree now! We have dug all the way around it!) Poachers have partially dug in this mound.
I found this Calendar Stone with 10 marks on it on top the mound. The head of French Creek
is near here!

These are the points that the landowner found while clearing the spot for his house!
Kerrville fist ax (huge!) Montells, Castroville, Marcos (maybe corner tangs?), Rare Carrizo,
Base Tangs, Fridays, Nolans, Early Triangulars, Pedernales, Uvalde (imagine that only a
few miles out of the town of Uvalde!), Ensor and Many Many More!!!
