Same Ranch - NEW MOUND!
This Weekend July -20th-21st
Due to a wedding party at the ranch we are being asked to move to a new spot for these three days. DO NOT GO TO THE HOUSE TO REGISTER THIS WEEKEND, I WILL BE TAKING REGISTRATIONS AT THE DIG SITE ITSELF THIS WEEKEND ONLY -then we will go back to registering at the house.
The new mound is simple to get to... take the first left after you go through the gate of the entrance to the ranch.

The mound is at the head draw of French Creek, the same creek that we are digging on as it runs into the Nueces river.
The mound is over 6 foot deep! It is not as large of an area as where we have been digging but being it is at the original headwaters of
French creek there is a good chance that many treasures a left buried there. We will see this weekend.
As of this writing Wed. night, the area is rain free and dry!
We did not even have time to go through the dirt we dug. We wanted to know how deep the mound was!
We will take the backhoe and trench areas for the hand diggers.
